What is Tool Registry ?

Opsera’s Tool Registry is a centralized place to manage all configurations and account information for your tools as well as Parameters and Scripts using vault.

How is Tool Registry linked within Opsera pipeline?

Once the tools, script or parameter is configured in a Tool Registry entry, you can use them throughout the Opsera Platform without having to manage multiple instances of the settings. This way, when a password, token or script has to be edited, it can be done in a central location and all pipelines or tasks that rely on it will immediately have access to the new changes. Tools, Parameters and Scripts are also restricted by the Opsera RBAC mechanism, so you can control who can view or edit any record.
