Section 1: Marketplace Overview

Insights → Marketplace consists of a library of KPIs. Each KPI measures different metrics. KPIs in a Marketplace can be viewed categorically, or by Tool-wise.

Scan through all the categories and tools, and decide on what are the KPIs that you will want to use. Make a mind note and proceed to Section 2.

Section 2: Add a KPI

Navigate to the Dashboard that has already been created.

Click on '+' icon in the top right corner of the Dashboard Panel.

Marketplace similar to what was seen in Section 1 opens up. Apply the filters, and search for the KPI you want to add. For example, to add ‘Sonar Ratings V2’ KPI,

Filter by Tool : Sonarqube

Search : Rating

Click on ‘Details’ button.

By default the working dashboard is already selected and visible in the Dashboard field.

Click on ‘Add to Dashboard’ button.

If you wish to add more KPIs, you can repeat the similar steps above.

Once done, Navigate back to Insights → Dashboards, and select the working Dashboard.

You will see the KPI/list of KPIs added.

Section 3: Configure a KPI

Each KPI has its own configuration panel, which allows users to set Date and Tags. Some KPIs, depending on the tools, might have more attributes to the configuration panel.

Let’s take Sonar Ratings V2 KPI as an example.

Click on the gear icon in the top right corner of the KPI header panel.

Settings opens up to the screen below.

Users can enable and disable Dashboard Tags or KPI tags, and apply tags that are very specific to the KPI.

Date ranges can be set as well. Once the settings are applied, click ‘Save’ and ‘Close’ to go back to the Dashboard.

To reset the settings applied to the KPI, click on ‘Reset KPI’.

To remove KPI from the Dashboard, click on ‘Delete KPI’.
