How To : Create a Dashboard Template

Dashboard templates can be used if a selection of KPIs are standard, and are used repeatedly within the organization.

An organization can create and publish their own dashboard templates, so that they do not have to go through the Dashboard creation process all over again. These templates are easy to create and used, but can also be edited, existing KPIs can be removed or new KPIs can be added based on the users' preference.

To create a Dashboard template to an Organizations' Private Catalog, select or build a Dashboard with a selection of KPIs and apply the appropriate configurations and filters.

Once done, click on the Publish Dashboard to Private Catalog button at the dashboard header.

Once the success message appears at the bottom of the screen, navigate to Insights → Marketplace → Dashboards and select Private Catalog from the dropdown.

The template created appears in the list, from which users can select one anytime.

Click on ‘Add to My Dashboards’ to create a new dashboard from these templates.
