Deployment via Octopus using Native Approach

Orchestrate your Octopus deployment Via Opsera:

With native Octopus integration, users can pull the Octopus deployment configurations via Opsera “Octopus Deploy” stage and complete the deployment, rollback and pass the dynamic variables for the deployment.

Step 1:

Add Octopus Step under Deploy in the stage selection , click “Save” and “Close”.

Step 2:

Click the Setting wheel in the Octopus stage for configuring the deployment step.

Note: Tool ID is populated based on the Tool Registry configuration. Remember to register Octopus Tool in Tool Registry to complete the step set up.

 

Step 3: Choose the Tool ID (Octopus end point)

Step 4: Select the Space name, Environment Configurations and Choose the Project Type as “Octopus Native Project”

Step 5: Choose the Project Group (This comes from the Octopus Tool)

Step 6: Choose the Project Name

Step 7: Choose the Channel, Tenant Configuration(s), Octopus Feed, and Artifact Step.

Step 8: Toggle Rollback Option (if required), Choose the pipeline Run count # you need to Roll back

Step 9: Add the dynamic variables in the JSON format under dynamic variables section (this can be added only if deployment requires dynamic variables).

Step 10: Click ‘Save’ & ‘Close’ and Execute the pipeline.
